Physics teacher Anthony Davidson watches as soda flies into the air. His Honors Physics class participated in an experiment on May 16 in order to discover the effect of putting Mentos in different types of soda.

On Tuesday, May 16, physics teacher Anthony Davidson’s Honors Physics class experimented with Mentos and different sodas. The 2-liter bottles launch upward when Mentos are dropped into them. On Thursday, May 18, the senior class met for the annual Senior Awards Ceremony. Students gathered with their families to honor numerous achievements. Lastly, on Friday, May 19, the JC service trip to Honduras returned. They flew home after a week of service at an orphanage.
