Last spring, the CW Network left viewers shocked.
With all of the season finales last May, viewers saw the unexpected in network favorites “One Tree Hill” and “Gossip Girl.” And now, with fall season premiers beginning as early as this week, the CW is ready to dish out new episodes of America’s favorite shows.
The residents of Tree Hill, North Carolina are back this fall with a new date. Instead of premiering on Monday, “One Tree Hill” premieres on Tuesday, September 15 at 8 p.m.
Season seven ended with the twenty-somethings in Utah supporting Julian’s new film. Julian proposed to Brooke, and Haley made a progressive turnaround in her depression over the loss of her mother. The real cliffhanger was when the psycho look-alike Katie shot the lovers Quinn and Clay, leaving viewers with a whole summer of suspense.
With the new date, “One Tree Hill” is ready to bring back America’s favorite characters and their complicated lives.
Haley Scott, husband Nathan Scott, and son Jamie Scott, “One Tree Hill’s” resident domestic family, are preparing for the arrival of a new family member and for Nathan’s upcoming career in the NBA.
Once an on-again off- again couple, Brooke Davis and Julian Baker are finally making a commitment to each other and are eagerly preparing for their upcoming nuptials.
And, according to CW spoilers, Quinn and Clay are alive and well in the upcoming season, despite the almost lethal shooting by new character Katie. With all of the excitement last season, there is no doubt that CW will provide just as much in the upcoming eighth season.
At the end of season three, America’s favorite Upper East Siders from “Gossip Girl” were all in hairy situations. Dan Humphrey discovered that he was Georgina Spark’s baby daddy. Little J Humphrey was exiled to upstate New York. Serena and Blair left for a glamorous vacation in Paris. Nate decided to do some “soul searching,” and the biggest shock of all, the notorious Chuck Bass was shot and left to die in the streets of Prague.
The season four opener “Belles Du Jour” starts off the fall season on Monday, September 14 at 9 p.m. Blair and Serena are off enjoying their summer of leisure and luxury, while trying to forget about their boy troubles back in the states. However, “Gossip Girl” fans will soon find out that one of the boys they were trying to forget is alive and well, roaming the streets of the City of Love with a new, unidentified lady.
Across the pond, Brooklynite-turned-Upper-East-Sider Dan Humphrey is trying to adjust to his impending role of as the father of Georgina’s baby. But is the baby really his or is Georgina just trying to get Dan sucked into her world of manipulation?
All the while, Nate Archibald is doing just fine trying to forget what happened with Serena with the help of Chuck’s little book. That is, until he meets Juliet, a new character who is supposedly helping Nate get Serena back, but may have ulterior motives.
And as for Little Jenny Humphrey, she’s still up in Hudson with her mother, but she’ll be back soon to stir up drama in everyone’s life.
