The second week on Nicaragua is turning out not to be as smooth as the first. Tempers are rising as tribe members are starting to know each other more and more.
Espada (Older Tribe) – Before the Challenge
Jimmy Johnson took control, telling the tribe members that they needed to rearrange the camp and roof. Jimmy T. became jealous of all the attention that Johnson was getting.
H: What do you expect, Jimmy T.? Johnson’s a celebrity. Did you expect everyone to ignore him and pay attention to you? Seriously, personalities are checked at the door.
E: Johnson was a football coach. It’s in his nature to plan things out and tell people what to do.
Holly Hoffman goes crazy when she sees Jil Behm eating a big old bucket of snails. After verbally bashing her for her stupidity, Holly snatches Jill’s yummy snails and dumps them on the ground.
H: First off, eww. But if Jill wanted to eat disgusting snails, let her eat disgusting snails. Holly needs to not be so crazy and overbearing. People are going to think that she is a freak, which I am currently debating.
E: Jill said that Holly’s mental state is not good, which I agree with. Jill was just trying to get some protein, it isn’t like she was forcing anyone else to eat them.
Dan can’t find his $1,600 shoes. Holly stole them, filled them with sand, and threw them into the water. Maybe if he wasn’t stupid enough to bring $1600 shoes on Survivor he would get some sympathy. Holly admitted that she did it in front of everyone, somehow expecting no problems to arise. We have a possible psychotic on our hands.
H: Why would you ever bring your $1,600 shoes on “Survivor”? Holly is a freak, though.
E: What is the point of filling your own teammate’s shoes with sand and throwing them in the water? Do you want to get voted off?
La Flor – Before the Challenge
Thieves are also loose on La Flor. NaOnka lost her socks and immediately assumed that someone stole them. So, she took Fabio’s socks in retaliation.
H: Poor Fabio. He’s really confused because NaOnka started to yell at him. NaOnka is mean and dramatic. She needs to be voted off ASAP.
E: Fabio had a right to approach NaOnka about his socks. She didn’t need to explode at him before he even started talking.
Challenge
Since Espada still has the power medallion, and they stupidly and arrogantly chose not to use it last week, they pretty much have to use it this week, if they want to win the challenge. The power medallion gave them a huge advantage in the challenge leading to their victory. They chose fishing gear over a tarp as their reward.
H: It was a smart move for them to use the power medallion. It really gave them an advantage.
E: I personally would have chosen the tarp, but I guess they were hungrier than I am.
Tribal Council
Shannon was faced with the possibility of being voted off during tribal council so he lashed out at various tribe members of La Flor (Younger Tribe) and asked fellow tribe member Sash Lenahan if he was gay. Sash and Shannon proceeded to fight in the middle of tribal council. Shannon then continued to say that everyone in New York is gay.
E: How does that question even pertain to what was happening at tribal council? Does that affect how Sash votes? I don’t think so.
H: Seriously, Shannon has serious issues and a messed up stereotype of New York. He really needed to be voted off. Go back to arrogant-land Shannon.
