This episode is the final episode before the big Sunday night finale when we will find out who will win the title of Sole Survivor of Nicaragua.
Reward Challenge
Each of the tribe members gets one person to see from home, whether a parent, sibling, or child.
For the reward challenge, the contestants have to jump in a pool and retrieve bags containing puzzle pieces. The contestants’ family members then have to put the puzzle pieces together. Unfortunately, Chase and his mother win.
Chase gets to pick two other tribe members and their family member to come on reward which includes food. Chase, although apparently he made a promise to Fabio, takes Sash and Holly.
Fabio decides to make a scene and bash Chase for not taking him and his mom.
E: When you make a promise to someone in this game, it would give you a better chance of him or her voting for you to win the million dollars if you actually followed through. Chase has broken so many promises. I can’t stand him anymore. Even Dan said that Chase is sucking up to Holly.
H: I actually like Chase, but I don’t understand why he chose Sash to be in his alliance. I don’t like Sash, which makes me not like Chase.
Immunity Challenge
For immunity, the contestants are blindfolded and tied to a platform containing a 3D puzzle. They must pass through a variety of obstacles, memorize the puzzle, and then take three bags with identical puzzle pieces and put the puzzle in order the same way it was on a platform on the other side of the obstacles.
Somehow, Fabio wins immunity. This messes up Chase and Sash’s plans to vote him out, so then the talk about voting Dan off.
Before Tribal
Holly comes to Chase and Sash and says that the other alliance is planning on voting Jane off. Chase doesn’t want to vote Jane off, but Sash and Holly do. Jane comes right up to them and asks them what is going on. They tell her to her face that they are voting her off, even though she was part of their alliance.
E: Wow, that’s just horrible. But after the long awkward silence, she gives them all the finger and walks away. Good for her!
H: Okay, why don’t we vote off Dan, the millionaire who has contributed nothing this whole time? Nope—I guess it makes sense to vote off one of the better players.
Jane then takes a bucket of water and dumps it on the fire at camp because she’s the one who made the fire, so she wants to be the one putting it out. The whole tribe just stares in horror. NaOnka would not have put up with that!
Tribal Council
Jane just tears it up. Chase, the smart one that he is, tells the whole tribe that he Holly, and Sash are voting Jane off tonight, and then Fabio, and then Dan.
E: Well, Fabio and Dan just got a huge wake up call, but did either of them hear it? Dan and Fabio need to win every immunity challenge or they are gone. Which pretty much means that they are gone.
H: Unless Fabio can miraculously win the next few challenges, he is done.
Upsettingly, Jane gets voted out.
E: I don’t even know who I want to win anymore. I pretty much dislike everyone else on that island now.
H: I really wanted Jane to win because she deserved it, but now it’s either Fabio or Chase.
Sunday night is the finale. We will finally get to see who the final three are, who the winner is, and the reunion show where contestants talk about things that happened when the cameras weren’t rolling.
