In the heart of Alabama, Dr. Hart (Rachel Bilson) must hurry to gain the love of the people of Bluebell before it’s too late!
The fantastic show, “Hart of Dixie”, premiered on Sept. 26 and has been a hit on the CW ever since. It plays every Monday night at nine o’clock and has fans waiting on the edge of their seats for every new episode.
The show tells the story of a big time doctor who moves to a small town called Bluebell to work at a private practice which happens to belong to her father. This is a fact Hart does not know about.
Hart is such an interesting person and it’s her character that truly makes the show stand out from other shows compared to it, such as “Bones” or “CSI.” Hart is a person whose career comes first, which can give some viewers something to relate to.
She makes so many mistakes that aren’t resolved and therefore gives the show a realistic side to it. One mistake ended up ruining a parade that Bluebell was putting on and made her the most hated person in the town. Another got her bitten by a cottonmouth, one of the most deadly snakes in North America. Another mistake was splitting up a preacher and his wife because she thought that the preacher had gotten syphilis.
And of course, every good series on CW has its budding romance. In “Hart of Dixie”, Hart has her pick of two guys, George Tucker and Wade, which gives the show a love triangle. Hart loves George Tucker, who is engaged to Lemon, who happens to be friends with Wade, who loves Hart. It sure is complicated, but that’s not all!
Lemon, who is engaged to George Tucker, has a little affair going on with the mayor, Lavon Hayes, who is a former football star. Hart is also living with Hayes because she has no home yet. If that doesn’t sound like drama, I don’t know what does.
If you are looking for a good series with plot twists, romances, drama, and humor, “Hart of Dixie” is the series for you. Tune in for the next show, episode eight, next Monday night. Things are bound to get heated in the small town of Bluebell.
