I take the far corner booth in the back of the restaurant; an aroma of warm, cheesy pizza fills the air as my slice is brought to me. What a mouthwatering sensation. As this trance slowly dissolves, I find myself in a local pizza parlor, either Italian Sensations, Buontempos, or Season Pizza. Although these are all usually great places to get a delicious slice of cheese pizza without breaking your wallet, I was disappointed in some of the genuine tastes of the cheese pizza and cleanliness.
Let’s begin with the most disgusting of the bunch. Ah, yes. Italian Sensations. The $1.75 slice was way too saucy with lumps of cheese here and there. The service was bad; the waiters were rude, gave me dirty looks as I asked for my order and when I asked for a new slice. To make matters worse, there was a long black hair in my pizza! Just what I want to eat for dinner. This traumatic event ended with me in a bad mood and still hungry, a bad combination.
I walk into Italian Sensations expecting quick service and a tasty, warm slice of a simple cheese pizza. After about twenty five minutes waiting for my one slice, I begin to take a bite and there it is! A long dangling black hair smack dab in the middle of my slice. Talk about delicious! In the future, check your food before you eat at Italian Sensations. You never know what you will find.

I went to Seasons Pizza for the first time, hoping for the best and expecting the worse. I walk in and the place is relatively clean, and the people were nice. I ordered my usual cheese slice and drink, and I sat down the only person in the whole restaurant. After 15 minutes, I finally received my $2 slice. I settled my rage and ate my far from perfect piece of badness. It was too saucy with relatively no cheese at all. Not what I wanted.

Buontempo Brothers was certainly the best pizza out of the three, but it was far from perfect. Although I love the taste of their cheese pizza, not too cheesy and not too saucy, the service and cleanliness could be better. The $1.50 slice of cheese was reasonable and delicious for the price, but the restaurant itself was a little dirty and hectic. Maybe cleaning the floor and tables would be nice. We don’t want to be sitting in previous costumer’s pizza crumbs.

I went to pizza places in Bel Air, hoping to find perfection in each of these places, but ultimately two of the three failed. The next time you want to go out with your family to get a nice slice of pizza, I recommend Buontempos by far.
