October 12, 2020
After filming 20 seasons of one of the most popular reality TV shows, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” the Kardashians have announced that their show will soon be coming to an end.
After following this show for so long, many of the faithful fans are upset with this decision. The show began back in 2007 which means there have been 13 years of filming, producing a total of 20 seasons.
The Kardashian/Jenner family have seemed to always have attention in the media while being noticed with other celebrities such as Paris Hilton. As time passed, the family members branched off into becoming their own brands. An example would be Kim Kardashian’s makeup company KKW BEAUTY or Kendall Jenner’s becoming well-known the modeling industry.
The decision to end the show was pretty mutual between the family members as most of them had often discussed losing interest or not having enough time for the filming over these past few years.
Kim Kardashian and some of the other Kardashians and Jenners including Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner, posted on their social media about the decision to end their show.
On Kim Kardashian’s post on Instagram, she wrote, “This show made us who we are, and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever.”
Although the show is coming to a close, the show brought many good memories and opportunities for the Kardashian/Jenner family.
In March of 2021, the show will begin its final season.
Over these past years, people have been able to grow with the Kardashians and see deeper into their lives.
Based on this past season, some of the family members had expressed interest in ending the show. One member of the family, Kourtney Kardashian, often expressed her wanting to end the show so she could be a mom and spend time with her children.
Other family members such as Kim and Khloe Kardashian wanted to keep the show running.
This show is filled with drama, laughs, tears, and joy. Reality TV is something like no other show.
Although many critics say it set up, these shows share an insight into celebrities’ lives. Reality TV builds a connection with the celebrities who fans admire. When these stars’ personal lives are filmed, you get to see how they are humans just like everyone else.
One of the best things about the platform of reality television is that the viewers get to see every aspect of stardom. This show reveals the Kardashian family’s struggle with constantly being in the public’s eye, the hatred and judgment of some viewers, the stress and pressure of being a celebrity, and more. These visuals bring a commonality and a regular human image for these celebrities who often gets masked by their fame.
Now that the show is concluding, it is time to see if their final season is one to watch or be put to rest.
With all the different entertainment aspects of the show, the final season should be one to tune into. After the show ends, people will most likely find updates about the family through social media.
