The Grinch, who lives at the top of the mountain with his dog, Max, has an evil plan to steal the townspeople’s presents, but his plan takes a turn when he meets a girl name Cindy Lou Who, played by Taylor Momsen.

He learns that maybe Christmas does not come from a store as the Whos continue their celebration without gifts.

This version with Jim Carrey playing the Grinch is especially good, as he does a great job at being creepy but also funny for the movie audiences.

Released December 1, 2000, it is still a very popular movie which kids and adults look forward to watching every year.

Overall, the movie is not too long or too short at one hour, 45 minutes and has some funny scenes. Some say this is the perfect length for a movie because it’s long enough to be entertained for a while but not too long where you get bored and waste your day away.

It is also very cool how they are keeping Dr. Seuss’s stories alive for more generations to see.
