The show introduces the main character Jessie as a small-town young woman who moves to New York City to pursue her dream of becoming an actor. Jessie knows she isn’t the most experienced, but she completely believes she will make it in the industry.
When Jessie arrives in New York City, she faces some complications. For example, when she arrives, she gets thrown out of a taxi right out front of the Ross’ penthouse where Zuri Ross is in need of a new nanny.
Because of this, she ends up working as a nanny to the very
rich Ross family. Lucky for her, the Rosses are influential directors, so her dreams are still possible.
We recommend this show to almost anyone. The show can inspire many viewers to pursue their dreams. It is also a very funny show to enjoy in your free time.
The kids Jessie nannies challenge her because of the crazy, entertaining stunts they pull, but she loves them more than anything. They go on so many adventures and do everything they can in NYC.
One reason we love the series is because of the butler Bertram. He teaches so many lessons to the kids throughout the show but never really shows his true love to them.
He always acts grumpy and makes smart remarks, but at the end of the day, he would do anything for the kids. In the end, the premiere of Jessie rank as the number one telecast with a total of 4.6 million total viewers in the target demographics scoring 2.3 million viewers among viewers aged 6-11, 1.8 million viewers among teens 9-14 and 887,000 among adults 18-49 in 2011, so this show really is for everyone.
