During this fall season, lots of people head to haunted attractions for that horror movie-like fear that make visitors feel like they are in their favorite horror movies. Located in Lancaster, PA, the drive is totally worth it for this attraction’s intensity and realistic experience which won’t be found anywhere else.
Field of Screams kicked off its season on September 29 and will end around November 11. Field of Screams offers four different attractions which vary in intensity.
To have a chance to experience these attractions, one ticket would cost $40, but the price varies depending on the type of ticket. It is recommended that tickets be bought in advance, reducing time spent waiting in line.
The first attraction to visit at Field of Screams would be the Haunted Hayride. Visitors experience dark cornfields with hidden figures
The first stop of the hayride is a butcher shop filled with gore as pigs taunt visitors using snorting sounds and chainsaws. The Haunted Hayride offers even more; it’s the perfect way to start with the attractions if a guest dares to continue.
The second attraction offered is the Den of Darkness where guests wander in a three-story farmhouse filled with ghastly sights chased by creatures.
The Den of Darkness offers narrow hallways filled with disturbed actors, operating rooms, and more. Guests run aimlessly as they try to find a way out.
The Nocturnal Wasteland and Asylum are the last two attractions included in the fright experience. In the wasteland, guests experience overgrown forests inhabited by mutated creatures. The asylum is horrifying, with deranged doctors and patients in the eerie hospital. Many cannot handle this fourth-floor experience because of its intensity.
This experience is recommended because of its authenticity from the attractions to the actors’ professional performances and appearances.
The only negatives about Field of Screams is its popularity, causing long lines and crowded attractions. Considering the overall quality of this experience, all horror fans should visit Field of Screams.
