Field of Screams provides a thrilling and exciting experience for family and friends. On the weekends, guests can spend time exploring the four scariest haunted attractions in PA. With terrifying haunted houses and a spine-tingling haunted hayride, guests will experience their worst nightmares.
The haunted houses do not seem too bad on the outside; however, when guests go inside, they will never feel the same again. The constant cliff hangers and short turns will leave them guessing.
It is a haunted walk through the dark that takes about one hour to complete. This walk is full of jump scares and horror. The walk consists of artificial grass that is a mile long and will have friends and family on their toes.
Field of Screams sees an estimate of 75,000 visits per fall season. They have branded events known as Extreme Blackout, Zombie Fun Run, and Friday the 13th. They are best known for their wide range of horror and theme park attractions.
The best features are the actors who put all of their time and hard work into making this the best experience for the families.
The attractions consist of great scares which may be too much for young children, but, overall, the attractions are well done.
The first attraction is The Haunted Hayride, consisting of the most disturbing, heart-pounding, and most intense ride of a guest’s life. There is no looking back as they ride on the tractor through the horrifying hayrides into the dark depths of the cornfield.
The second attraction is the Den of Darkness, which consists of a three-story terror fest. As you creep through the distorted passageways and impossible mazes in a 200-year-old original barn, high-impact scares and a sensory overload are guaranteed.
The third attraction is the Frightmare Asylum, which is a visitor’s worst nightmare. People can join the bone-chilling madness as they make their way through four floors of the demented and the deranged. They will meet the crazy doctors and nightmarish nurses who have taken up the residence. State-of-the-art scares, and endless rooms are packed with lots of cutting-edge special effects. In the Frightmare Asylum, no one will be able to hear screams.
Lastly, the fourth attraction is the Nocturnal Wasteland. In the deep dark depths on the Field of Screams property lies the Nocturnal Wasteland.
As guests walk down the narrow and winding paths through the overgrown vegetation, they will brutally face the mutant creatures in the thrilling forest. The cries for help will be too distant to be heard.
Field of Screams is highly recommended for families and friends. However, children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. There are no strict age restrictions, but the recommended age is a guideline for parents.
