Hersheypark is more than an amusement park when fall rolls around. From haunted houses to thrill rides to delicious food, Hersheypark has it all.
The park’s Hershey Halloween and Dark Nights was open seven weekends. Although the days are over for the year, this is something great to plan for the 2024 season.
Beginning with coasters and rides, Hershey keeps 50 attractions open throughout the night. Wildcat’s Revenge, one of the best coasters at Hershey, keeps the whole family coming back. The roller coaster has four inversions and reaches speeds of 62 mph. It was recently updated this year, from being entirely wood to now Hershey’s only steel and wood hybrid coaster. Keeping this coaster up throughout the year at Hershey has brought more customers than ever.
In addition to rides, Hershey’s Dark Nights are back. Admission to Dark Nights is included with the purchase of a Hersheypark Halloween ticket. At 6 p.m. each night, five immersive haunted houses come to life with a guest’s greatest fears.
While this is an exciting experience, ticket prices are a bit expensive.
The limited-time After Dark ticket, including a weekend pass beginning at 6 p.m. each night is $45. Dated Halloween day tickets start at a discounted price of $52.99. Finally, a normal non-discounted ticket for any day in the Halloween season is $74.99.
Hersheypark Halloween may hold your greatest fears, but what might scare you more is wasting your money due to long lines and huge crowds.
