The Jonas Brothers made their stop at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore for their world tour on September 22.
The Tour is the brothers’ first tour since their Happiness Begins comeback tour in 2019. This show covers all five of their albums, including a few singles, totaling 67 songs with a surprise piece.
The environment was amazing. Although the crowd may be older since they grew in popularity in the early 2000s, everyone was overjoyed, screaming and cheering as the brothers performed their top hits such as “Sucker,” “Lovebug,” and “Burnin’ Up.” Every fan, no matter the age, was singing and dancing to the nostalgic songs that many of us grew up on. Fireworks, spotlights, kiss cams, and confetti all drew the attention of the crowd.
The concert tickets were not at all overpriced; many people got very good seats at reasonable prices. I was seated right next to VIP section just off the floor, section 107 row C and paid $130 per seat. This was right near the B stage. Food and drinks were expensive as they are at all big events. Merchandise was also the standard price for most celebrity merch. Tee shirts were $45, hoodies $75, and other miscellaneous items such as tote bags were around $30.
The Jonas Brothers, Nick, Joe, and Kevin, prioritized crowd interaction, giving them high fives or even announcing the signs they hold to the entire arena. At this specific concert, Joe Jonas found two fans who are expecting and announced the genders of their babies during the hit song “Little Bird” from The Album.
There were two main stages with a path which leads through the floor. Stage A, as expected, was toward the front of the arena but branched off slightly into the crowd. Stage B was located in between the VIP section, only about 30 feet from my seats in section 107. The brothers made it a point to move around while interacting with the crowd, so different sections could get the same experience as those in the front row.
As they moved through each of their five albums, they expressed it as moving through the eras of their lives. They opened with a single as well as two hits from their newest album and move to their first album titled Jonas Brothers. They took a minute to talk about their roots, singing at their father’s church in a small town in New Jersey and growing to be one of the most popular boy bands of the 2000s.
Overall, this concert was one of the most amazing experiences. The Jonas Brothers were truly enthusiastic and showed how much they cared for their audience. This was an experience that should happen in any Jonas fan’s lifetime.
