Watching Christmas movies around Christmas time is among the most popular parts of the holiday season. According to ‘USA Today,’ the top five Christmas movies of all time are ‘Scrooged,’ ‘It’s a Wonderful Life,’ ‘Elf,’ ‘Love Actually,’ and ‘Miracle on 34th Street.’
Coming in at number one is Scrooged. This movie was released in 1988.

The story takes place on Christmas Eve 1945, in Bedford Falls, New York where the main character thinks about ending his life.
The prayers of his family and friends reach Heaven, where guardian angel second class Clarence Odbody is assigned to save George in order to earn his wings.
At number three is Elf. This comedy was released in 2003. At the center of this story is Buddy, a human who has raised been raised as one of Santa’s elves. However, he discovers that he has a biological dad named Walter who lives in New York City.
In search of his father, Buddy ventures all over NYC while overcoming a few challenges.
Love Actually is number four. This movie was released in 2003. This movie follows the lives of four people in London during Christmas. This movie explores the aspects of love, friendship, family, and self-love. It contains about a dozen couples who are in love, but some of them fall out of love while others change partners.
Wrapping up the list at number five is Miracle on 34th Street. This film was released in 1947. This is a dramatic family and fantasy movie about a lawyer who must prove to a young girl that a man claiming to be Santa Claus is the real thing.
