‘Christmas Chronicles’ is a family holiday film about Kate and Teddy Pierce, played by Darby Camp and Judah Lewis. It first premiered on November 22, 2018, and can be streamed it on Netflix.

The film starts on Christmas Eve. When Kate and Teddy’s mom get called into work, it leaves them home alone on Christmas Eve, and Kate has a mission. Kate plans to attempt to catch Santa Claus in the act.

At first, Teddy is skeptical. Teddy has lost the Christmas spirit; however, Kate is still a firm believer in the magic of the holiday. With the recent passing of their father, tensions have been high in the family. Kate is upset because Teddy never spends time with her anymore, so he caves in and decides to help her.

Kate and Teddy fall asleep while trying to catch Santa, and one thing leads to another, and they end up in Santa’s sleigh. They go through a lot of adventures in the movie as it is very entertaining.

There are many good themes in this movie, and it overall gives the cozy holiday vibe. A lot of this movie focuses on the power of teamwork, and family. Kate and Teddy work together throughout the entire movie, and it brings them so much closer by the end of it.

I often watch this movie with my sister around the holiday season, and we love it. This is a good opportunity to bring your family together to sit down and watch a Christmas movie.

Christmas Chronicles is rated PG for mild action violence and brief language, but overall, it is a kid-friendly movie. This film is recommended for all ages. It is generally a movie that can be enjoyed by everyone.

This has become a holiday staple for my family. In 2020, the second Christmas Chronicles premiered and is just as good. As you prepare for the holidays, give Christmas Chronicles a watch.
