One of the first things I think of when it’s the holiday season is Christmas cookies. There are so many different cookies you can bake or eat during Christmas.
Christmas cookies are good for eating around the holidays or making them with family or friends.
My family has a tradition of getting together for a day and baking Christmas cookies for the entire day. We make a ton of different types including peanut butter cookies, M&M cookies, and Swedish butter cookies.
You can also hangout with your friends and bake cookies and decorate them. Around the holidays, I have friends over my house, and we bake sugar cookies and decorate them.
Christmas cookies are also a perfect snack to have. If you want a snack, you have an assortment of cookies to pick from.
Baking Christmas cookies always puts me into the holiday spirit the most. Whenever I think of the holidays, I think of baking cookies with my mom. The cookies we make the most of are chocolate chip and sugar cookies.
Some people take Christmas cookies to another level and take decorating very seriously. They take hours to decorate cookies. Others will make huge cookies and put loads of icing on them.
My favorite part about Christmas cookies is that when I bake them, I eat the dough with it (although it is advised not to do so due to the raw eggs). I also like eating the icing; it’s so good. I almost like eating the before cookies more than the actual cookies.
Baking cookies can also be good for couples around the holiday season. They can get matching Christmas pajamas and play Christmas music when they are making the cookies. While the cookies are baking, they can watch some of the best Christmas movies like Elf or Home Alone.
Eating and baking Christmas cookies are the best ways to be in the holiday spirit. Whether its baking them with friends, family or significant others, it’s always a good way to bond.
