There are two movies that are at the top of Must-See Movies each Christmas: ‘Home Alone’ and ‘National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.’
Christmas Vacation is one of the best Christmas movies ever produced. It’s a 1989 American Christmas comedy film based on the Griswold’s family spending Christmas vacation at home with their relatives and the chaos that comes as a result.
The plot of the story surrounds the main character, Clark Griswold played by Chevy Chase, who plans to have a great Christmas with his family. He begins by driving his wife and children out into the country to find the perfect Christmas tree.
Essentially selecting the largest tree they could find, Clark soon realizes that they did not bring the correct tools or materials to cut down this tree; however, they are forced to “uproot” the tree instead.
Clark’s holiday plans start going downhill and causing disorder and confusion with the family’s greedy neighbors, Todd and Margo Chester.
The movie really gets you into that Christmas feeling. Its not only a good Christmas movie, but it is a good comfort movie. Christmas Vacation is a great family movie, and really brings back lots of Christmas memories.
Home Alone is another great Christmas movie. It’s a good film to watch with family or friends.
This movie goes through the challenges a young eight-year-old boy named Kevin finds himself home experiencing after he is accidentally left at home during the holidays after the rest of his family goes away on vacation.
The boy faces many challenges where he later finds out that burglars have targeted his home.
This movie does a great job showing the holiday spirit and is a great film to watch if you want a good laugh.
The actor who plays this smart and brave young boy, Macaulay Culkin, does an excellent job of showcasing this character’s funny personality and helps bring the movie together.
Home Alone is a classic family comedy movie that goes way back to 1990. This is certainly one of those movies that can be watched several times and not get boring, and the viewer won’t be sick of watching it.
The movie Home Alone is such a great movie that they produced a few sequels after the first, and I can say for sure that audience are not let down.
Nothing beats the original movie from 1990. This film has stuck with me since I was a child. All-inclusive this movie is a fantastic movie and is recommended to all who want a good laugh but also want to really feel that Christmas spirit.
