‘Home Alone’ is classic & treasured holiday film

It’s that time again. The time of baking, shopping, stress, and, most importantly, our favorite movies.

There are numerous holiday movies to watch; however, a fan favorite since 1990, is Home Alone. This classic has been so popular that it has continued the storyline with other Home Alone movies.

The best ones in this cinema series are 1 and 2. Nonetheless, only one Home Alone can take the name of the best of the series.

Both movies follow a young boy named Kevin McCallister and his family. In the first Home Alone, Kevin is supposed to go on a vacation to Paris with his parents, siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Kevin and his brother get into a fight over pizza, and Kevin is sent upstairs to reflect on his actions in the attic. Between the frantic late start to the morning, the bunches of cousins, and Kevin being in solitary in the attic, he is left home alone.

Viewers follow Kevin’s ultimate plan of defense for his house against robbers, a new relationship with Mr. Marley, and a delicious Christmas Kraft Mac and Cheese dinner.

Home Alone 2 begins a little differently. Kevin and his brother occasionally still have their brotherly brawls. With tension and again, a late start to the morning of their flight, the McCallisters lose Kevin in the airport on their way to Florida. Kevin ends up on a New York flight, and let’s just say, he couldn’t be happier. Kevin’s adventures continue, and there is another meeting with the robbers from the first movie.

The nostalgia and memory from these two movies is unmatched. Both are good. Home Alone definitely has that classic original look, and it has become is a worldwide classic. Two’s plot is definitely more exciting, and who doesn’t love a thrill?

There can only be one best Home Alone, and it is actually Home Alone 2.

This movie takes place in the best city of the world, New York, and it has an amazing plot and is much more action-based.

Home Alone 2 has lots of nostalgia while still savoring that classic Christmas feel. However, both are obvious choices for viewing over the holiday break.
