Fill the holiday season with magic and joy by going to New York City. The activities, shops, lights, and food attracts hundreds of people every year. New York City is a place for families and friends to have an amazing, unforgettable holiday season.
New York City is very popular for their tree lighting ceremony. It is the last piece to add in the city that officially starts the holiday season. The tree is in the middle of Rockefeller Center Plaza, and it is one of the biggest trees in New York City. The tree is usually lit right after Thanksgiving. This part of New York City during the holiday season is many people’s highlight.
The Winter Village in Bryant Park is one of the largest and most exciting shopping markets in New York City.
There are many places to eat and shop, and there is even an ice-skating rink. The location of the Winter Village is beautiful around the many tall buildings, and lights.
The negatives of going to New York City during the holiday season is that it is such a popular place to go, meaning it will be super-crowded. The weather will also be very cold during this time. Whenever people think of NYC in the winter, they think that it snows, but it certainly doesn’t snow that much.
Not only does New York City hold Christmas activities, but it also is a place that holds the New Year’s Eve ball drop every year. The ball drop takes place in Times Square. Many people go to see the ball drop on New Year’s Eve in person, but others may stay home to be with friends or family and watch it on TV. Overall, going to New York City is an amazing experience during the holiday season. It is one of my favorite things to do to have fun, get together with family or friends, and to have a magical holiday season. Grab a jacket, scarf, hat, and gloves, and take a trip up to New York City to have an amazing time and feel like the holiday season is never-ending.
