‘10 Things I Hate About You’ is a 1999 American teen romantic comedy starring Julia Stiles, Heath Ledger, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Larisa Olynik, and David Krumholtz. This movie is available to watch on Disney+, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video.

In this movie, Cameron James is a new kid at school. While taking a tour of the school with Michael, Cameron sees Bianca Stratford for the first time. Bianca’s father has a rule that does not allow her to date until her sister does.

Cameron finds a way to take out Bianca by paying Patrick, another student, to take out Bianca’s sister, Kat. Kat and Patrick start having legitimate feelings for each other as do Bianca and Cameron.

This movie has several popular scenes, but the most well-known is at the end when Kat shares her version of Shakespeare’s Sonnet 141.  Another is when Patrick sings to Kat in the stands of the football stadium.

The title of the movie comes from the poem recites because Kat says “hate” 10 times. The poem is seen as directed at Patrick after finding out he was paid to date her.

This movie is definitely a top five for many viewers. This is such a timeless movie because of the iconic soundtrack and how carefree and fun it is.
