There are three movies coming to theatres near you on Nov. 5, but are they watchable?
Due Date
Rating: R
Genre: Comedy
Info: Peter Highman (Robert Downey Jr.) is expecting his first child in five days. He is stuck in Alabama but decides to hitch a ride with Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifanakis). Tremblay is supposedly an aspiring actor/weirdo. Of course this becomes the ultimate road trip from hell as Highman must deal with Tremblay and his weird and odd ways. This is bound to be a classic.
Our recommendation: See it
For Colored Girls
Rating: R
Genre: Comedy, Drama
Info: At first glance this appears to be another wannabe serious Tyler Perry film. While some of these films may be very good and dramatic, some are not watchable at all. This film is about what it is like to be colored and a female in this world. It seems incredibly interesting and engaging, explaining what it is like to be discriminated against.
Our recommendation: See it
Megamind
Rating: PG
Genre: Comedy
Info: Oh here we go again. Another 3-D movie. This animated movie features Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Jonan Hill, and Brad Pitt. In this movie, Megamind (Ferrell) is the world’s most brilliant villain but not exactly the most successful. After trying again and again to destroy Metro City only to be stopped by Metro Man (Pitt), one day Megamind succeeds. When a new villain attempts to destroy Metro City, will Megamind just stand by or will he fight for his city?
Our recommendation: Rent it
