The Hampden Christmas lights are a fun, festive location in Baltimore City to get in the spirit of the Christmas season.
The beautiful lights are very popular, and it is the place to go if you are looking for something fun to do, but it is also not too far from the Bel Air area. They opened on the Saturday after Thanksgiving as they do every year.
Bob Hosier is the man who started it all. He lived on 34th Street along with neighbor Darlene Hughes. They both decorated their houses deeply with festive spirit, only to get married 25 years later and start the tradition that what now everyone refers to as the “Miracle on 34th Street.”
It has gone on for many years and is now one of the most popular places to go.
The area gets very crowded, especially the week before Christmas. It is a bunch of rows of townhomes that go all-out with Christmas lights, and you can even enter inside some of them. They may have paintings inside; some of them you can even buy.
There are many interactive things to do at the location, such as take pictures, buy things, and socialize. The main downside is that it may take a while to get into the houses since they are small, and the location of it isn’t the best. There is not a ton of parking, and you may have to walk to get to them in the cold weather.
The string lights hanging from house to house across the top looks like something from a movie. The colors and everything that goes with it is so pretty. At one of the houses, there is even a mistletoe that is hanging from a place where you can get super-cute pictures.
This is, overall, a very fun place to go to get into the holiday spirit and spend time with the people you love. It is a tradition for my family to go every year, and many people enjoy it.
