Senior Megan Grieg sings “One” by U2 in the Senior Variety Show. The Variety Show is being held on Nov. 26 and Nov. 27 at 7 p.m.

The Senior Class Variety Show was cancelled in 2012 and 2013, but this year, it’s back.

“The Variety Show is the JC version of Saturday Night Live,” senior class president Karly Horn said.

The show is a mixture of comedy skits and musical acts that involve things every student at JC will recognize, like Rosetta Stone, the JC parking lot, and dress code violations. Only seniors can participate in the show, but everyone can buy tickets and see it.

“We have a really talented an enthusiastic class and I think this will be a great start to a renewed tradition,” Horn said.

“Students should go because it was a big tradition at JC and we’re bringing it back,” senior class vice president Cole Alban said. “It’s also a great fundraiser for prom so it’ll help a lot.”

“The dress rehearsal was so much fun, and the show is going to be amazing. You better come watch it,” senior Caitlin Johnson said.

The Variety Show will take place on Nov. 26 and Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased online, at the school store, or at the door.
