Giving Back by Making Donations

The holiday season is about giving back, and there’s no better way to do that then to donate. Here are five places that need your help this year:

Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna:

There is an Aberdeen Resale center on Bear Hill Rd. You can donate any gently-used home goods. They accept furniture, appliances, housewares, tools, and motor vehicles. Habitat for Humanity is an organization that provides affordable housing for those in need.

Harford Humane Society

Harford Humane Society is always open to dollar donations. There are multiple places you can donate like the Phoenix Fund, Memorial Gifts, and One-Time Gifts. These donations will be going towards food and toys for the animals in the shelter. You can donate on their website.

Tabitha’s House

Tabitha’s House is located in Fallston. They help low income and at-risk families. They accept non-perishable food items, clothing, and school supplies. They also have volunteer opportunities if you are unable to donate.

Maryland Food Bank

The Maryland Food Bank is always a great place to donate. Along with cash donations, they also accept cans and non-perishable food items. You can deliver donations, or you can request the pickup service.

Our Daily Bread

Our Daily Bread is a popular food bank in Maryland. In addition to sending in donations, you can also volunteer by applying online.
