SCIENCE OLYMPIAD TEAM NEWS: On Saturday, March 20, the JC Science Olympiad Team competed in the regional Maryland tournament hosted by Mt. Hebron High School. Last year, they were in person at this tournament, but this year, it was all virtual. Listed below are the team members, their events, and their placements. Each event had about 20 to 30 teams competing.

Dr. Andrew Ketchum, the coach of the team, is proud of the group this year as they had to deal with changes in events, learning new software for the events, and working together (albeit remotely) to prepare for the competition. They have worked hard on all their preparation. Mr. Mark Grzanna is the assistant coach for the team.
