Los Angeles, California – NASA announced on Friday, November 13th that “a significant amount of water” has been found on the moon. This discovery was made by a Lunar Satellite that crashed near the south pole of the moon. The satellite was part of a $79 million mission to determine if water exists on the moon. Scientists believe that the discovery will lead to a better understanding of the whole solar system.

Ocean City, Maryland – Ocean City is dealing with beach erosion and flooding in the wake of Hurricane Ida. 50 mph winds were reported on Thursday. The loss of dunes was reported along the beach, as well as heavy flooding in West Ocean City. No injuries have been reported.

Moscow, Russia – Police in Moscow have arrested three homeless men after linking them to the murder of a young man that involved eating part of his body and selling other body parts to a local kebab kiosk. The 25-year-old victim was targeted out of personal hostility, according to a police report. It is currently unclear as to whether customers at the kebab kiosk had been served any of the body parts.
