Midfielder senior Jenn Etzel has played on the varsity level for women’s lacrosse since her freshman year. Etzel started playing as early as she could at the age of six. She enjoys “the game itself.” During her years in middle school and high school, she played for the Sky Walkers Lacrosse Program. Her favorite JC lacrosse memory is winning the IAAM championships in 2007 and 2008. This year she is a captain along with sophomore Erica Bodt, senior Alex Mezzanotte, and junior Sarah Dennison. Varsity lacrosse coach Krystin Porcella picked Etzel because “she is a true leader. Jenn takes care of what she needs to do, along with helping other players.” Etzel will play Division I lacrosse for University of Denver next year.
