Men's, Women's swimming compete in Magnolia Middle School Relay Carnival

The JV and varsity men’s and women’s swim teams participated in the Relay Carnival held at Magnolia Middle School on Dec.14. JC swam against Harford County Public Schools, teams from the IAAM, and teams from MIAA.

According to head coach Larry Dukes, “It’s really just a fun night for the students to make new friends with students on the other team.” This is the only swim meet in which the men and women get to swim side by side and in the same relay. The events are for this meet are made up and unique to this meet to provide for more of a fun type meet, according to Dukes.

The women’s team finished overall ninth out of 13 and the men’s team finished thirteenth out of 13.
