Sophomore Gia Checo Roques is a versatile member of The Patriot and jcpatriot.com who focuses on photography and art. This is her first year involved in any kind of newspaper staff. During the summer prior to entering JC, she joined wrestling and also took a liking to doing service. Prior to last year, she had not really involved much of her time helping those in need. Her favorite way to help is in the food distributions Friday and Saturday every month at the Bel Air United Methodist Church.
