Junior James Keller is a Copy Editor for The Patriot and jcpatriot.com. This is his first year on staff and his first year taking journalism. He can be found after school every day playing with the Jazz Band, jamming with friends, working on the robotics team’s robot, or scheming with the Envirothon team. He is also a member of the National Honor Society and German Honor Society. In his free time, Keller is often working on one of his old cars or playing guitar. On Wednesday, Nov. 8, teachers, benefactors, former faculty members, and alumni gathered to tour the new model classroom and discuss plans for the renovation of all science labs. Science department chair Dr. Julie Baker and Principal Tom Durkin gave brief presentations about the necessity for new technology in the classroom and laboratory.

On Friday, Sept. 15, hundreds of JC students and alumni gathered at Bel Air High Schools Bobcat Stadium to cheer on JC during the varsity football game. JC defeated Bel Air with a final score of 38-17 and also took home the Commissioners Cup on the evening of Saturday, Sept. 16.
