One day, when you walk into the doctor’s office, you may find senior Nico Cvach looking back at you. Cvach hopes to one day become a doctor.
For his senior project, Cvach researched how to become a doctor. He will be majoring in Biology when he attends St. Joseph’s University in the fall to supplement his career plans.
Cvach will certainly cherish the many memories that he has made during his years at JC. Cvach said that there were too many great memories to pick one favorite, however, “Our freshman year ping-pong tournaments during off mods and after school [are among my favorite memories],” Cvach said.
Cvach’s favorite class at JC was Physics, which he took this year. The class was taught by Physics teacher Lyle Brennan. “Physics [is my favorite class] because Brennan is a great teacher and he’s funny,” Cvach said.
On the staff of The Patriot, Cvach was an Entertainment Editor during his junior year and a Layout Editor his senior year. This meant many long nights of finishing up the paper before it could be sent off to be printed.
Even with these long nights of work, Cvach enjoyed his time on the paper. “[My favorite memory] was chilling with fellow senior Ryan Lina in our back corner and goofing off,” Cvach said.
Despite being sad about leaving JC, Cvach is looking forward to college and the new opportunities it presents. “I’m really looking forward to meeting new people and all of the freedom I’m going to have,” Cvach said.
