This catchy, up-beat song is by the electro pop English singer, La Roux. La Roux will be performing at Rams Head Live! this upcoming Sunday, Nov. 7 along with the G6 crew, Far East Movement and Francis and the Lights.
The singer’s stage name is French for “red-haired,” which suites her fierce, fiery look. Her self-titled album “La Roux” includes her famous hit Bulletproof, as well as “Quicksand,” “In for the Kill,” and “I’m Not Your Toy.” So if you’re looking for an act that will light up the stage, mark Nov. 7on your calendar. Tickets are $25 each.
For the rock ‘n’ roll fans, The Dandy Warhols will be making an appearance Nov. 9. This group is famous for the opening theme song for the TV show “Veronica Mars.” Their catchy, well-known song will get stuck in your head and, chances are, their other songs will catch on as well. . Want to give someone a trip to an exotic island as a Christmas present? How about a ticket to see Sean Kingston on Dec. 14 at Rams Head instead? This 20-year-old Jamaican-American rapper offers good music with a slice of Jamaican flavor. Tickets are $20 each.
Don’t worry hip-hop lovers, there’s something at Rams Head for you as well. On Dec. 28, rapper Wiz Khalifia will be doing the final hip-hop performance of 2010. He will be performing songs from his hit mixtape “Kush and Orange Juice” with Mac Miller. Khalifia won the MTV award for “Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2010,” so you might want to check him out and see for yourself. Tickets are $25 each.
