A senior tradition continues
October 31, 2019
The seniors of JC continued to make history by proceeding with a senior tradition. The beginning of the legacy of the Class of ‘20 made its mark on Class Color Day.
On Friday, October 12, the seniors’ green color stood out to the entire school as they prepared for the day. Beginning at 7:00 am, students set up tables, grills, chairs, and food. Students feasted in preparation of having the energy to keep the class excited all day.
At 7:50 am on the dot, all the freshmen, sophomores, and juniors cleared the halls to make way for the storm. With no time to spare, green shirts raided the halls, blowing whistles and yelling to boast of their presence.
In such a fun moment, it is also bittersweet to see the Class of ‘20 experience their last day of Spirit Week. Senior Michael Wolfe added that it was “cool to see our class come together for our last Homecoming Week.”
