Black and Gold recipients deliver acceptance speeches

Senior Nick Hinke gives his acceptance speech as the male recipient of the Black and Gold Award. Both Hinke and senior Caroline Cooney received the award on Wednesday, May 24.

Seniors Caroline Cooney and Nick Hinke received the Black and Gold Award on Wednesday, May 24 at the Senior Showcase. The Black and Gold Award is “the most prestigious award issued to a graduating senior and awarded to one male and one female.” The finalists were chosen by classmates through voting in April.
