2021 Valentine’s Day is time for creative planning

Valentine’s Day is going to look very much different in the year 2021.

Last year, the pandemic really began to take effect on the country after Valentine’s Day. At that point, US states were still 100% open with no mask mandates or lockdowns in effect.

However, this year, with the pandemic still taking its toll on the country and world, Valentine’s Day will not be the same for many people. The question is, “How can I spend my Valentine’s Day with my partner safely?”

One thing you could do while helping small businesses is ordering out. You could order out from any small business of your choice, preferably, a business that is fancy, such as a steakhouse. Now while this seems like an abnormal idea, rather than just going to the business, it actually is a good idea. Not only does it make you and your partner safe from getting the virus, it keeps others safe and keeps small businesses afloat.

Now with your food ordered, what are you supposed to do?  You can make it romantic at home. Decorate your kitchen; add flowers to your table along with a fancy kitchen cloth. You could strings up hearts on a fan in the kitchen. Another suggestion is to turn the lights down low and add some piano music to set the mood. This can somewhat provide the same experience as a fancy restaurant.

What if you don’t want to go through all this? Well, it’s simple. Go out to a restaurant or a movie, but stay safe. Wear a mask and socially distance yourself from others. You could do anything to your heart’s desire to please your loved one. Just don’t go to a party.

As we approach Valentine’s Day, remember all these important details. It could come in handy now and in the future.
