2022 has been full of unique clothing trends so far, and it isn’t slowing down this fall.

Chunky Sweaters: In recent years, chunky sweaters have become popular, but this fall, the “indie” style sweaters are on the rise. Neutral-colored knit sweaters are a diverse piece of clothing and can be paired with multiple types of bottoms depending on the weather. If the weather is on the warmer side, pair the sweater with a miniskirt or put it on over a dress. If the weather is colder, pair the sweater with baggy jeans or khakis, or sweatpants.

Cargo Pants: Cargo pants have been a staple piece of street-wear all year, and have recently become popular with teenagers in the skater clique. The pants come in colors like beige, gray, and black, and can be found in almost every popular clothing store. Cargo pants are loose-fitting, meaning they can be worn by any gender. For females, I would pair this piece with platform boots and a tank top or a baby tee. For men wearing cargo pants, I would pair it with yacht club vans and a windbreaker over a white t-shirt.

Baggy Jeans: Fashion trends are inevitably recycled, seen prominently through the baggy jeans trend of the 90s. Baggy jeans are perfect for the fall weather, and can be paired best with a belt, a jacket and a t-shirt. Thrift stores are the best places to get these jeans.

Nike Dunks: Although Nike shoes can be pricey, their Dunks are money well-spent. Nike Dunks come in many different color variations, but their website also allows for shoe customization. Because of the many different colors, you can pair the shoes with almost anything.
