Tim Burton movies are good bets for Halloween season

October is ending, and it is the perfect time to sit back and enjoy Halloween. Whether you like watching scary movies or carving pumpkins, everyone loves to celebrate Halloween.

Tim Burton is a well-known director for his unique style and popular Halloween movies. He is able to make you feel eerie and nostalgic all while maintaining the Halloween theme.

One of my favorite movies of his is Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice is the tragicomedy of a young couple who die in a car crash and have a troubling time getting used to the after-life.

Another one of my favorites is Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas. I love how he keeps the comedic aspect, but he also adds a creepy Halloween addition to it.

In every movie Tim Burton directs, there are many characteristics that stay similar such as his Halloween theme, comedy relief, and depressing storylines. All of those characteristics put together create a fun and interesting movie directed in Tim Burton’s unique style.

My favorite movie out of all of his movies is Edward Scissorhands. Edward Scissorhands begins with a saleswoman going door-to-door selling makeup kits. In common Tim Burton style, there is one house she skips, a dark and scary castle in the middle of nowhere. Edward Scissorhands lives in the seemingly-abandoned castle alone.

Tim Burton’s movies are unique to any other Halloween movie I have ever seen. They aren’t scary, but there is an eerie sense to them all.

I rate his movies five stars due to their impressive cinematography and directing.
