Christmas is a time of fun, and something especially fun are video games. Video games are one of the top presents of the year; however, what are the best video games to play during the Christmas time? These are the top five Christmas games that anyone can play.

Fortnite Winterfest
Every year, Fortnite comes out with different seasons, bringing new locations and skins for players to equip. This year they have a new season called “Winterfest.” Like any festive season, Fortnite Winterfest 2022 will come with a host of challenges, which players can beat for special rewards.
Other than that, not much has yet come out about this season. Fortnite is free on all different video game platforms.

Overwatch
Like Fortnite, Overwatch also comes out with new games and skins. However, every year Overwatch brings back the same four games: Freezethaw Elimination, Snowball Deathmatch, Yeti Hunter, Mei’s Snowball Offensive. There are also 48 of the old skins from past Winterfests, along with new ones that have come out. Overwatch is available on all platforms.

Dead Rising 4: Santa Stocker Holiday Pack
Dead Rising 4 has lots of Christmas features that make it a lot of fun to play. The point of the game is to kill zombies, but the Christmas additions make them elves and zombies.
The player can also wear a Santa costume and ride on “Santa’s Little Melter,” which is a reindeer who shoots lasers. There are also weapons such as “Candy Pain,” which is a bat with Christmas lights.

The Escapists: Santa’s Sweatshop and Santa’s Shakedown
The Escapists is a strategy game with the main goal begin to find a way to escape prison. This game has a lot of holiday editions. First, your character has to escape Santa’s workshop and is an elf instead of a human.
There are items and jobs specific to Christmas, new dialogue for other elves, and a new festive playlist. It is available on PC and as an app for mobile devices.

Animal Crossing: Toy Day
Animal Crossing is a game for all ages with many new events and updates that add so much to the game. There was an event called “Turkey Day” for Thanksgiving where players could help one of the main characters, Franklin, make certain dishes for an in-game gift. There is also a Christmas Event called “Toy Day” that is happening from Christmas Eve to midnight on Christmas Day. Even though “Toy Day” is only one day this year, there are many quests that players can do throughout December and seasonal items. Depending on the platform, the game is around $45.
