Singer, lyricist, pop star, and America’s sweetheart re-released her pop hit, ‘1989’ last week.
Taylor Swift’s album hit all streaming platforms on Friday, October 27. This is Swift’s third re-released album and is predicted to break streaming records. It will feature the original 16 songs with added “From the Vault” tracks. If I were you, I’d make sure to leave a “Blank Space” on your playlists for these classics.
Swift’s 1989 was a generation forming album. It featured her switch from the country universe to the pop world. When first released in 2014, it quickly climbed to the top of the charts, breaking musical records again and again. Songs like “Shake it Off,” “Blank Space,” and “Style” became pop classics that no one could get out of their heads.
Now, exactly nine years later, Swift will release her own version of the cult classic album. Fans are ecstatic to see what Swift has in store. Between the new added tracks and hints at new music, fans feel like this is a scene from their “Wildest Dreams.”
Sophomore Ellie Persons said, “I’m so excited to hear remakes of her songs because 1989 is my favorite album, and I’m so ready to jam out.”
Regarding what she was most looking forward to, Ellie said, “I’m so ready to hear the new vault tracks and ‘Style (Taylor’s Version).’”
Swifties all around the world are eager to hear what Swift has created for them. She remains on top of the music industry through her international Eras Tour, Eras Tour Movie, and this new album. No one knows what Swift will do next, but we know we are “Ready for It.”
