Ocean City is located on a coastline near Rehoboth, Bethany, Fenwick, Lewis, and Dewey Beaches. It is surrounded by many different bays and is on the Atlantic Ocean.

When searching for places to stay in Ocean City, it is recommended that booking a place should be done ahead of time because prices begin to rise as the summertime approaches.

Ocean City has a variety of activities that can occupy visitors who are on vacation.

Spending time on the boardwalk is one of the most common activities that people most enjoy. On the boardwalk, there are many amusement park rides, beach shops like Quiet Storm, restaurants, and dessert shops.

Junior Sylvia Woosley said, “My favorite thing to do at the boardwalk is getting funnel cake because it tastes the best, and you can’t get it anywhere else.”

Another fun activity that people like to do in Ocean City is go to the Jolly Rogers Amusement Park.

There are numerous attractions at this park that people love to do, including going on fun amusement park rides, playing mini golf on the mini golf course, spending a day at the water park, and going to the go-karting course.

While on vacation, people enjoy eating at specific restaurants and getting dressed up in beachy clothes.

For the best pizza, people enjoy going to Grotto Pizza while for the best crab cakes, people enjoy going to The Crabcake Factory.

For dessert, people enjoy getting ice cream and milkshakes at Dumser’s Dairyland or Kohr Brothers.

Sophomore Seema Shukla said, “My favorite place to eat in Ocean City is Fager’s Island because the view is really pretty.”

People love going to Ocean City because it is a vacation spot that allows travelers to bond with their families and friends, allowing people to truly have a joyful and unforgettable vacation experience.
