While attending Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, science teacher Linda Gustafson was in the group “The Full Moon Buggy Organization.”
“It was a subset of geology. Every full moon, we were in charge of making sure there was a party. It was at four a.m. in whomever’s house hosted,” said Gustafson. This is just one of the events you could experience while attending Franklin and Marshall.

Gustafson chose geology as her major because “I love rocks, being outdoors, and the idea of wearing jeans to work. Plus, there were good looking guys in my classes,” said Gustafson.
As for her classes, Gustafson says students would “throat,” a saying at Franklin and Marshall describing studying. “You would study so often that you would cram it down your throat, because you were never close to being done your work,” said Gustafson.

Their clubs include Amnesty International, anthropology club, chessmen, Ciao Bella, cycling club, Dance Dance Revolution club, debate club, fencing, gaming society, gourmet society, golf, Model United Nations club, philosophy club, ski and snowboard club, ultimate Frisbee, and squash.
Gustafson, along with being a part of “The Full Moon Buggy Organization,” was part of the theater productions all through her time in college. “I had a lead role in ‘Three Sisters’ and ‘Ian Tom Checkoff.’ It even aired on T.V.”
