Students participate during the Ash Wednesday Mass on Feb. 13. In religion classes, students wrote down what they were giving up for lent on a piece of paper. During the mass, the notes were then presented at the alter to remind students of their resolutions. Students also received ashes on their forehead in the sign of the cross as a blessing.
