On Dec. 9, the Academic Team beat Mount de Sales and Loyola in a meet hosted by JC. The self-named “Neutrinos” beat Mount de Sales 37-19 and Loyola-Blakefield 29-27.

“They’re tremendous. It’s been a very good year,” moderator Robert Schick said.

Freshman team member Drew Forthman is proud of his team and their performance in the meet. “I thought it went very smoothly. I was confident in the team,” he said.

The next meet is on Jan. 27 at Maryvale. The team’s final meet is on Feb. 17 at Loyola-Blakefield.
