High school years go by so quickly

I am a member of the Class of 2025. This year is my third year at JC. I still remember the first day arriving here, pulling up to the front of the school, having the band play, and seeing the cheerleaders wave their pom poms. I made my way to the table to get my folder with my name on it and my schedule inside.
Walking into school that day changed my life. Never would I have thought that I would be where I am now, preparing and planning out what colleges I want to apply to, what college softball camps I want to attend, what classes I want to take senior year, and what I want to major in college.
As I write this, I am preparing to get my JC ring. This day has been very much anticipated since I first stepped foot into the school building. Being able to receive the ring and wear it even after I graduate will symbolize the continued love that I have for my school.
John Carroll has let me be myself and has helped me evolve into the person I want to be when I graduate and go to college. This truly is a college preparatory school.
JC has taught me that I am smart and worthy of greatness. At times, the work is hard, and the amount of work is a lot, but it has only prepared me for college.
This last year and a half I’ve truly seen what people mean when they say that “high school goes by quicker than you think.”
I can honestly say that high school has really truly gone quicker than anything. Take advantage of your time at JC. This place is truly awesome, and before you know it, your time here will be over.
