During the week of Jan. 15, the National Honor Society met to discuss their annual project of writing letters of appreciation to JC staff. QPR, or Question, Persuade, and Refer, gathered parents together to share warning signs of suicidal thoughts and what can be done to prevent an accident. Psychology teacher Dr. Paul Lazor taught his AP Psychology classes about cognitive skills and had students test themselves by playing various board games in class. Finally, police sergeant Wendell Baxter conveyed his experiences growing up and working in a formerly segregated Harford County.
