Week in Sports: Week of Oct. 23
Men’s Soccer- Wednesday
On Wednesday, Oct. 25, the men’s varsity soccer team lost to Loyola Blakefield with a final score of 5-0. This game was the team’s senior night and final game of the season.
Women’s Cross Country- Wednesday
The women’s cross country team participated in the IAAM A conference championships on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Stevenson University. They placed last out of the seven teams in the IAAM A conference, however, they placed 15 out of 24 teams versus all conferences.
Football- Friday
Filled with energy under the lights on Friday night, the varsity football team won at home against St. Paul’s with a final score 21-7. JC was able to celebrate a victory on their senior night. “It was great to win on our senior night, it was hard to believe that it was my last season,” senior receiver Adam Dobson said.
Men’s Volleyball- Friday
The men’s varsity volleyball team lost a close game at home against Archbishop Spalding on Friday, Oct. 27, with a final score of 3-2. “It was a tough loss because of how close the game was, but it was a fun season,” sophomore setter James Ziegler said.
Women’s Soccer- Tuesday
For their senior night, the women’s varsity soccer team took on Archbishop Spalding at home on Tuesday, Oct. 24. The girls lost the game with a final score of 3-0.
