Avenue is convenient location for skating

As we settle more into winter, everyone is looking for more fun and safe activities to do with their family and friends.

The White Marsh Avenue outdoor ice skating rink, less than 30 minutes away from JC is a perfect activity this winter.
With most ice skating rinks closed because of being indoors or having very limited space, this is a more accessible and just-as-fun activity. Ice skating is available every day, weekdays from noon until 10 pm and on weekends from 10 am until 10 pm. Despite the pandemic, it is still a fun and safe activity that is open. Limited numbers of people are allowed on the rink at a time; all equipment such as the railings and guiders used for beginner skaters are sanitized; and masks are required and are strictly enforced. Reservations are required, but they are easy to book online or in-person.
This is also an affordable activity to do this winter, with tickets starting at just $9, and skate rentals are just $5 for an hour. Waivers do have to be signed and a newly implemented “COVID questionnaire” must be completed.
The outdoor ice skating is under a company which has other rinks across Maryland. There are locations in Glen Burnie and Silver Spring as well.
