Junior Sarah Spaeth is the Copy Chief and a Sports Editor for The Patriot and jcpatriot.com. This is Spaeth’s first year on the staff and her second year in journalism. Outside of The Patriot, Spaeth plays varsity volleyball and varsity softball. She is also a member of the National French Honor Society, National Honor Society, and is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leadership Team. On Wednesday, Nov. 14, students from all over Maryland came to JC to participate in the Lessons of the Shoah, an event that educates students about the Holocaust, specifically Jewish persecution and resistance.
