Competition ends in close score

Powderpuff: Seniors vs. Juniors
Competition+ends+in+close+score
This year’s Powderpuff game ended with the seniors coming out on top 32-28.
There was a slight drizzle at the start of this game, but that didn’t stop the seniors from getting on the board first and scoring early.
Seniors were led to victory through touchdowns by Natalie Kelly, Annie Willie, Sojo Hollin, and Sophie Anderson.
The score for this game was close as the juniors provided a strong challenge for the seniors. Two missed two-point conversions after touchdowns by the juniors helped the seniors to come out on top.
Senior Class Moderator Larry Hensley said, “The juniors really gave us a challenge this year, and I can’t wait to coach them in next year’s game.”
Junior Class Moderator Nathan Nocket said, “The game went as best as it could given the amount of practice time we were given.”
Both the juniors and seniors had three days of practice, all with an hour-and-a-half run time.
Junior Class Moderator Shannon Olsen said, “I was surprised by how well the juniors did. I’m really excited to learn more about flag football as a whole and hopeful to get a win for the juniors sometime.”
Senior Hannah Stabile said, “Playing in the Powderpuff game as a senior is one of the most fun experiences. Running around on the field and making one of the last memories with your class is one of the best feelings.”
