The Commissioner’s Cup: Football

The varsity football team defeated Bel Air 38-17. Senior quarterback Qadir Ismail led the offense down the field on almost every drive, making plays with his feet on key third downs to extend drives. Junior running back Chimzi Chuku scored on an 84 yard touchdown pass from Ismail two minutes into the game, giving the Patriots an early lead. While the Patrtiors won by 21 points, Chuku believes the team could have played better. “We still have a lot of work to do, but I believe in the team,” Chuku said.

JV football won 13-7.
